Slipway repaired

FISHERMAN John Deans would like to say a massive thank-you to North Ayrshire Council and the Ardrossan and Saltcoats Herald for listening to his pleas about a broken slipway.

Last week, through the Herald, Mr Deans appealed to NAC to help fix the badly damaged slipway in Saltcoats, situated just behind Iceland and Aldi.

And on Saturday council workers came out to repair it.
