Ryan's maths success!

A SALTCOATS pupil has been dubbed a genius after answering over 20,000 maths questions correctly.

Whizz-kid Ryan Conlan took part in the World Maths Day competition, organised by St Matthew's Academy, recently came first in his school AND 70th in the world.

Ryan's guidance teacher Jennifer Tait said: "Ryan answered a fantastic 24, 407 questions correctly. This is an amazing achievement."
