PROUD SALTCOATS VICTORIA co-boss Iain McMillan saluted his battling side as they emerged from a 10-hour marathon trip with a place in the Third Round (last 64) of the Emirates Scottish Junior Cup.

The Seasiders outlasted Nairn St Ninian 11-10 in a penalty shootout after the Second Round tie had ended deadlocked at 1-1.
