A LAST-gasp goal from Jamie Longworth on Monday night kept Ardagh Cup winners Ladeside on course for a trophy double in a entertaining game which could have gone either way.

There was no lack of effort from both teams but the thought was defence first, leaving both having few opportunities in a game which wasn't as exciting as it was in paper.

Both managers had headaches before the game as flooding on roads elsewhere stopped players getting there on time. Everyone agreed for a delay in the kick-off and that sorted things out although there was no warm-up for some.
