Buffs lose out despite decent performance

UPBEAT KILWINNING RANGERS boss Billy Thomson heaped praise on his team after they produced a batting display against higher league side Petershill, despite going down 3-1 at Springburn on Saturday.

And he was most impressed with the pefromance of new signing, midfielder and Scottish Junior Cup runner-up Stewart Maxwell, who set up Buffs' goal in the game.
