Emirates Scottish Junior Cup Second Round ARDROSSAN WINTON ROVERS 1 ARMADALE THISTLE 2

WINTON disappointingly slipped out of the blue riband competition, unable to adapt to the weather conditions or overcome a robust Armadale side.

Armadale had visited and won at Winton Park 20 years ago as a major East side. However from their current league form and status, this was a tie that all at Winton Park knew was winnable.

The Winton ground staff had worked all morning to ensure the pitch was playable, but the heavy conditions and the elements took the edge off the style that the ever-increasing support at Winton Park had grown accustomed too.
