Ardeer keep face in defeat

Stagecoach Ayrshire District League MUIRKIRK JUNIORS 3 ARDEER THISTLE 1
MUIRKIRK battled back to seal the points that moved them into the top half of the table but were pushed all the way by spirited Ardeer.
From the kick-off the home side were on the offensive with Josh Muir and Stuart Wark causing havoc down the right wing.
Early chances fell to Craig Duff, Pat Lopez and Murray Johnston but were comfortably saved by Scott Cochrane in the Ardeer goal.
John Colligan squandered Ardeer's first opportunity when he missed the target with a header from a Darren Quinn cross.
