JIM Jefferies blamed a 'sloppy' first half performance for putting his side on the back foot against Celtic on Sunday.

The Killie manager named the same team which fought so bravely at Ibrox the previous weekend but his side never looked like giving Celtic as good a game as they did with Rangers.

Jefferies said: 'Celtic played well in the first half and really got on top of us and when we got the ball we were so sloppy.
