Mixu jubilant as Killie bounce back
Clydesdale Bank SPL KILMARNOCK 2 ST MIRREN 0
JUBILANT boss Mixu Paatelainen hailed teenage hitkid William Gros as he marked his first start with a goal as Killie completed a hat-trick of league wins against the Buddies.
However the ever-philosophical Rugby Park boss is playing down any talk of securing European Football with a fourth-placed finish.
It was the perfect way to bounce back following the shock 5-0 defeat at Aberdeen seven days earlier with the hosts back to playing the Total Football they have won so many plaudits for this term.
"William is a fantastic young player for us. He possibly did pick up some things from Conor Sammmon on the training ground. He scored an excellent goal and Alexei Eremenko is such a quality player with his goal and assist. It was a very good all-round performance from us and I was delighted, there are a lot of positives I can take from it."
