IN his pre-match programme notes, boss Jim Jefferies lamented how finishing had to start matching possession if Killie were to dig themselves out of their recent poor run and get a third win on the board.

So how frustrating it clearly was for the gaffer that once again his team had outgunned another visiting side only to come up short without even a point, and skipper Kevin Kyle's penalty miss summed up their cruel luck on another most frustrating day for the home faithful.
