HISTORY-MAKING Garnock Rugby Club celebrated in style at sun-kissed Lochshore on Saturday as they won promotion.

A resounding 71-15 win against Caithness saw Kenny Glen"s team clinch a berth in National League Division One for the first time, sparking wild celebrations among players and supporters.

Beaming coach Glen said: 'The players did their talking on the park and turned in a great performance. With the weather and the pitch in first-class condition, a large, noisy crowd helped the boys and there was only going to be one winner.`
