AWARD WINNER: George McIlroy

COMEBACK boxer George McIlroy this week received a major award at a glittering occasion to cap his stunning return to the ring last month.

The 26-year-old from Stevenston, was presented with the Boxer of the Month accolade from the St Andrew's Sporting Club at their landmark 300th show in Glasgow on Monday night.
