THE agonising wait for the parents of missing Gregg Jackson was finally over on Friday when police confirmed that the body discovered in an outhouse in Stevenston’s New Street was their son. Forensic tests were carried out to establish the identity of the remains and after two weeks police confirmed that it was the 27-year-old of Ritchie Street, West Kilbride. Several flowers and tributes have been placed at the scene where he was found on April 16 and hundreds of tributes were also left on his social networking site Bebo. One said: “With deepest sympathy to Gregg Jackson’s family and friends at this sad time of their lives. May their son rest in peace now he’s been found, safe in the arms of Jesus.” Leave a message of condolences for Gregg's family and friends here.
