HODGART Dr Robert ("Bob") Lindsay Edinburgh Peacefully passed away at Ferryfield House, Edinburgh, on 3rd September 2023, aged 79, after a long battle with cancer, bravely fought. Beloved husband of the late Maria Birkenmajer, stepfather to Klaudyna, younger brother of the late Anne and older brother to John. A much respected lecturer within the Department of Geography at Edinburgh University from 1968 to 2007 and a great lover of both Poland and Scotland. Funeral Service at Mortonhall Crematorium Pentland Chapel on Friday 29th September at 1.30pm, to which family and friends are respectfully invited. No flowers please. Donations, if desired, can be made to Médecins Sans Frontières in Robert's memory.
