JAMES MCCRACKEN

McCRACKEN - James Peacefully passed away on 12th March 2024, aged 86, in the company of his wife of 64 years Myrtle, daughter Myrtle Lorraine, and granddaughter Niamh. James was a much loved brother, uncle and cousin. James will be sadly missed by many in the community. The family invites all to join them at the Church of the Nazarene, Ardrossan, on 10th April at 10:45am to celebrate the life of James. For further details contact: 1barryniamh@gmail.com.

I was so sad to discover Mr. McCracken has passed. Had I known, I would have come to the funeral/memorial. Mr. McCracken was literally my dad for 6 months of my life. Myrtle and I were exchange students together for a year together in 1981-82. I made a trip to visit them a few years ago, but was unable to connect with them. Mr. McCracken was such a kind and welcoming man. If by any chance, there is going to be a memorial service in the future, please provide me with the details. Myrtle and Myrtle, I wish peace for you both and I hope you will let me know if there is anything I can do to help you with anything. Mrs. McCracken, I have such warm memories of you and as silly as it may sound, I often have a craving for your fish curry. Myrtle, I would love to reconnect, if you’re open to it. I tried to reach you on Facebook years ago, but never heard back. I’m so sorry for your loss.
