MILLER - James Of Caledonia Road, Saltcoats - devoted husband and lifelong companion of Edith, cherished father and friend to Iain, wonderful father-in-law to Kate, proud "Pops" to Rufus and Maeve, and "Uncle Jim" in the family, passed on 10 April 2024 at Crosshouse University Hospital, Kilmarnock after a short illness. We bid our final cheerio to a warm, kind, generous and selfless man of impeccable character who will be sorely missed by his family and in the local community. Funeral at Holmsford Bridge Crematorium, Dreghorn at 11.30am on Friday 10 May 2024 followed by a gathering to share happy memories of Jim at the Lauriston Hotel, Saltcoats from 12.30pm. The family have requested no flowers please, but there will be an opportunity to donate towards a bench in memory of Jim in Holm Plantation, Saltcoats.
