GAVIN Jessie (nee Connell/Macinnes) On Thursday 9th May 2024, peacefully at home. It is with immeasurable sadness that Jessie lost a near twenty-year battle with Parkinson's and related dementia, a battle bravely fought with great dignity and courage. Adored wife of Kevin, loving stepmother to Fiona. Sister to John and late siblings Jean and Elspeth. Popular aunt and great aunt to many nephews and nieces. Enthusiastic former head of Moorpark Primary School in Kilbirnie. One time Samaritan, hockey player. Childrens Panel member for 35 years. A wonderful friend to many who will be greatly missed. Funeral arrangements, to which all family and friends are invited to attend, Monday 3rd June 2024 at 11.30am at Holmsford Bridge Crematorium, Dreghorn, Irvine KA11 4EF. Family flowers only. For those wishing to donate a retiring collection will be held for Parkinson's and Alzheimer's research.
