THE FUTURE of North Ayrshire's libraries and community centres is to be decided on an individual basis by individual working groups of councillors and civil servants.
The move came this week after North Ayrshire Council agreed to reject accountants Grant Thornton's recommendation - in a report following a consultancy which cost NAC almost £50,000 - that they hand over the running of community centres to the North Ayrshire Federation of Community Associations.
