SNOW and ice looks set to make a return to North Ayrshire this weekend after the Met Office issued a weather warning.
The yellow warning, which covers large parts of the Scotland, could see scattered showers to North Ayrshire on Saturday night and through into Sunday morning and is valid from 5pm tomorrow until 10am on Sunday.
The warning reads: "1-3 cm of snow is likely in places, with isolated falls of 4-7 cm possible over higher ground.
"By day, any accumulations on roads will be temporary but will be more likely to settle from Saturday evening through to Sunday morning."
