As lockdown easing continues and more and more people are back on the roads of North Ayrshire, a number of repairs, roadworks and closures will be taking place.
Throughout August, there are works throughout the local area and this handy list tells you where you will need to avoid and on which dates.
Saltcoats
Caledonia Road (Ardrossan Road Junction to junction adjacent to number 28)
August 3 to 7, 9am to 5pm (daily)
Road closed due to carriageway resurfacing works.
Diversion routes will be signposted
Stevenston
Station Road (At level crossing)
August 1, 11.30pm to August 2, 8am and 8 August, 11.30pm to August 9, 8am
and August 15, 11.30pm to August 16, 8am.
Road closed due to emergency Network Rail works.
Diversion routes will be signposted.
Kilbirnie
Castle Drive (Place View to Causeyfoot Drive)
August 3, 8am to August 7, 6pm
Footway closed due to water trial pit works
Causeyfoot Drive (number 26 & 34 to Castle Drive Junction)
August 10, 8am to August 21, 6pm
Footway closed due to water trial pit works
Irvine
Bank Street (Number 122 to Manson Road Junction)
August 3 to 10, 9am to 5.30pm (daily)
Road closed due to carriageway resurfacing works.
Diversion routes will be signposted.
Old Stewarton Road (Middleton Road to Girdle Toll Roundabout)
August 3 to 14, 8am to 4pm (weekdays only)
Road closed due to carriageway improvement works.
