The first snow of winter has fallen on the peaks of Arran and the stunning sight has been captured in photos from the mainland.
Images show a dusting of white powder across Goat Fell, the island's highest peak, and Cir Mhor, A'Chir, Beinn a' Chliabhain, Beinn Tarsuinn, and Beinn Nuis.
As the days get darker and temperatures fall, wintry scenes have been spotted across the region.
Keen photographers Stuart McMahon, Hugh Anderson, Robert Johnstone and Sharon Dalgoutte shared the images of the Ardrossan and Saltcoats Herald's Camera Club.
