A woman has been taken to Crosshouse hospital following a car crash on the A737 between Dalry and Kilwinning this morning (April 30).
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 9.45am following reports of a two-vehicle collision.
A woman was taken by ambulance to hospital as a precaution while a 28-year-old man will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with road traffic offences.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 9.45am on Friday, April 30, we received a report of a two-vehicle crash on the A737, south of Dalry towards Kilwinning.
“A woman was taken to Crosshouse Hospital as a precaution. A 28-year-old man will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with road traffic offences.
“The road re-opened around 11.50am."
