Regulars at the Four Seasons in Saltcoats were in for a very different sort of event last Sunday when manager Linda Paterson arranged a visit from hairdresser Scott McKinnon to raise money for Marie Curie.
Willing participants Jeanette Gibson (left, main picture) and Catherine Slimman (right, main picture) braved the shave in the pub’s beer garden all for a good cause. Linda told the Herald: “One of our customers hadn’t had her hair that short since she was seven years old!
“We have raised a substantial amount of money for Marie Curie before it and once we have counted it all, we are going to have a presentation day next week.”
