An Ardrossan Accies player is set to undertake a 55 kilometre ultra-marathon to raise funds for charity.
Euan Thomson, 31, will travel to the Lake District to complete the challenge in aid of the British Heart Foundation.
The second-row aims to cover the distance in seven hours. The route includes three mountain passes as well as a 7000-feet
climb.
Euan has already exceeded his target of £750, with almost £900 raised on his JustGiving page.
The event takes place on July 10, and donations can be made at www.justgiving.com/fundraising/euan-thomson55k.
