Staff from food chain Domino’s Pizza in Stevenston have been helping the usual Three Towns Clean Up Crew with making the area’s beaches more palatable.
The collaboration with the local franchise saw four members of the pizza crew join in on a litter pick as part of the Keep Scotland Beautiful summer campaign ‘MyBeachYourBeach’ to help make Scotland’s beaches a cleaner place for us all to enjoy.
Allan Merry, from the Three Towns Clean Up Crew, told the Herald: “Six of us, with four from Domino’s Pizza in Stevenston and two from the Three Towns Clean Up Crew, cleared two bags of general waste and recyclables yesterday from Ardrossan South Beach.
“The beach looked good as a result of fairly frequent litter picks being done recently.
“We are doing this every Wednesday between 3pm and 4.40 pm, if anyone else wants to join us, meeting at the car park, near the Stanley Burn. A big thank you to Domino’s, who will be joining us again in future.”
