COMMUNITY-MINDED mum Dana Milligan travelled from her home to Girvan to put up posters asking for anyone who may have seen Jamie to come forward.
Dana, of Kilwinning, felt compelled to take action as she has three boys of her own and wanted to help with the search for the teenager.
She said: “I know the young lad and it is just awful, I have three boys and it makes me sick to the stomach for his family.
“I decided to head out to Girvan and put posters up along the way, you never know, it may trigger someone’s memory, we have to keep hopeful.
“I am hoping if the poster is up in different area people will notice it and I will be travelling to Girvan for the next four weeks as I am helping at the charity shop there and want to get his face out to as many places as I can.
“Anyone with a heart who knows something would come forward put his family out their misery and bring their boy home to his own bed.
“His brothers need their brother home his parents grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and pals all need Jamie home.”
Dana, who runs Random Acts of Kindness charity group in Ayrshire, has also contacted every MP and MSP in Ayrshire asking for their help to join the campaign to find Jamie and use the hashtag #pleasebring
jamiehometohisfamily.
Helz Kitchen in Stevenston is asking for people to hand in bottles which they will put Jamie’s face on.
