Ayrshire Hospice is launching a brand new Go Purple Memory Walk this September.
The walk will take place on September 4 at Ayr Racecourse and will take place later in the day, allowing you to soak in the stars as they shine bright.
Participants will have the choice to take on a four, nine or 13 mile walk to raise funds for the charity.
Warm-up events will precede the walk and it is open to all ages.
It will be a wonderful opportunity to invite all your family, friends and colleagues to join together and walk through the night in memory of a loved one or friend by creating new memories together. Waves of the walk will began at 8pm and 9pm on the day.
Registration for the walk is now open and can be completed by going to the Ayrshire Hospice website or calling 01292 288488.
The price is £15 for adults, £10 for eight-15 year olds and £7.50 for seven year olds and under.
The registration fee covers all expenses involved in administering your place and it is not refundable.
You will receive a coloured t-shirt, water, fruit, snack, and a commemorative medal for taking part.
Registrations will close at 12 noon on Friday, September 3. All participants will receive an information letter 1-2 weeks prior to the event with instructions.
