A young archer from Dalry has received a £1,000 sponsorship from Cunninghame Housing Association (CHA).
Jonathan Ralston first picked up a bow at the age of six, and continues to travel to competitions across the country.
The youngster recently travelled to a competition in Burton-on-Trent, where he won the under-16 age group.
Jonathan was initially awarded £500 in July 2019, before CHA opted to sponsor him for a further two years.
The funds have allowed him to purchase a new bow , assisting with travel and accommodation costs also.
Chairperson John Kelly said: “It is great to see him progress in his chosen sport.”
Jonathan’s funding is provided through CHA’s Making Our Communities a Better Place Fund - a scheme which operates throughout the year until allocated funding is exhausted.
