CalMac has cancelled a number of Ardrossan to Brodick sailings today after a member of staff in the Ardrossan port office tested positive for Covid-19 [Sunday, October 10].
The sailings were cancelled after a member of staff tested positive for coronavirus in the land-based port office.
The following sailings have been cancelled: Departing Ardrossan: 1230, 1520 and 1800 Departing Brodick: 1355, 1640 and 1920.
There will be no sailings on the Brodick to Ardrossan route for the rest of the day.
The ferry company have now brought pier staff from Brodick on the island over to the mainland to allow for the vessels to operate when they arrive in Ardrossan.
CalMac have said there are not enough staff to operate the existing service so have cancelled the remaining sailings for today.

Calmac will review the situation for Monday's sailings and have said the only method to leave the island today is via the Lochranza- Claoaig route, a two-hour detour by road.

All mainland to island travel will require to use the Claoaig - Lochranza service
