THE family of missing Saltcoats teenager Jamie Cannon has vowed they won't give up searching until he returns home.
Jamie was last seen on Kinnier Road at around 10am on Thursday, May 20.
He was reported missing on Saturday, May 22.
Marking six months since Jamie was reported missing, cousin Leanne Graham told the Herald on behalf of the family that Jamie's disappearance was "breaking their hearts" and it has "been the hardest six months for all of us".
Speaking directly to Jamie, she pleaded: "Jamie, it has been six months and the hardest six months for us all.
"To have not one word or sighting of you is breaking our hearts. We all love you and miss you loads.
"We cannot understand why you haven't been in contact with anybody to let us know you are OK.
"We just want you home where you belong with your mum, dad, Lian, Aidan, and family who miss you so much.
"If you do see any posters, appeals, please let somebody know.
"I promise we won't give up on Jamie until you are home.."
The 19-year-old is described as being 6ft 1in tall and was wearing grey jogging bottoms, grey trainers, and a blue jacket when he was last seen.
He was also carrying a camouflage backpack.
Anyone with information about Jamie should contact Police Scotland on 101.
