A footballer, whose career began playing for local side Dalry Rovers, made his Celtic debut at Parkhead the weekend before last - in his side’s dramatic 90th minute win against Dundee United, appearing again in the latter stages of last week’s Old Firm clash.
Ben Doak grew up playing for his local side, before moving onto Ayr United, where he was then snapped up by Celtic.
Also capped by Scotland under 17’s, he can play either on the wing or at fullback, and is still only 16 years old.
Reports have even suggested English Premier League giants Liverpool and Chelsea are keeping tabs on him.
He was brought on with over 20 minutes to play, becoming the club’s second youngest debutant ever.
Speaking about the player, manager Ange Postecogelou said: “He’s a fantastic kid who comes from a good family. He looked really composed for his age.”
It is believed Celtic are keen to get the Doak tied down to a new contact.
