Three towns growers potato day festival
This year’s Potato Day event at Elm Park was part of Scotland’s Climate Festival sponsored by Keep Scotland Beautiful.
Marie Doran, development worker, and Mrs Logan from Lockhart School enjoyed fun activities in the small poly tunnel while children enjoyed making potato heads and bird feeders.
Around 30 different varieties of potatoes were on sale and Ian also had some lovely plants on offer.
The place was a hive of activity and feedback was amazing.
