WEST Kilbride Horticultural Society finally resumed their Spring Show recently after missing out due to the pandemic.
Saturday's (March 19) event was just ‘blooming marvellous, with some splendid display of daffodils taking pride of place'.
But there were still plenty of Covid restrictions around the Village Hall event to ensure everyone’s safety.
The organisers set up a one-way system and social distancing, plus “Track and Trace” details. There was no Tea Room and everyone who visited wore masks.

This year entries were free, with a modest charge for the tattiebogle competition.
Daffodil bulbs, provided to school children by the Society last November to plant with help from committee members, were judged in advance, and school class murals were prepared for competition.
The Society were delighted to be back in action and to see so many old friends returning for one of the village’s best loved events.
