Registrations are open for Dalry’s inaugural Skirt the Skeith 12k running race.
The event, which has been organised by Dalry Community Development Trust, will take place at Dalry Country Park on June, 26.
It is open to anyone aged 17 and over and entries are limited to 200, so fitness fans are urged to get in there quick and sign up via online booking system EntryCentral for £12.
On the day, runners will be put through their paces. The race starts at Dalry Public Park and runs up Blair Road, around Auchinskeith, along the walls of the Historic Blair House and back to the park – a hilly route that has beautiful scenery for participants to enjoy.
Prizes will be awarded for the 1st and 2nd place males and females and the 1st and 2nd veteran male and female.
All participants will receive a goodie bag, wooden medal and a burger on completion.
