KNITTED art which has been presented atop a West Kilbride postbox has gone down a treat with locals, spreading some Easter cheer throughout the village.
The creator, who said they’d rather remain anonymous, said: “Friends kept sending me photos of ones they’d see where they live because they know I love knitting/crochet and so I thought it’d be fun to have a go.
“I got some nice remarks as I was putting it out and also posted it on a few Facebook pages and got quite a few likes.
“I’ve already been asked to do another for West Kilbride, so I suppose - watch this space. I am also thinking of doing some for other locations…maybe.”
