Artists from across the area are encouraged to submit their latest masterpieces as the open art exhibit makes its welcome return after two years away.
The North Ayrshire Open Art Exhibition is back at Eglinton Country Park this year and organisers are looking for talented artists to come and submit their work.
Julia Griffin, Exhibition Coordinator said: “This prestigious exhibition is now in its 24th year and showcases the work of artists living and working in Ayrshire, Scotland and beyond.
“It’s a popular and well established event on the Scottish art exhibition calendar and attracts thousands of visitors.
“This year we have seven amazing sponsors: Freckfest, Financial Services Scotland, Largs Hardware and Gallery 8, Scotland’s Artists, Buckreddan Care Home, Wellington Gallery and Gallery 2, who will be choosing their favourite artworks and awarding very generous prizes to the lucky artists so apply today and you could be in with a chance of winning.”
To get involved you will need to fill out an application form which can be downloaded at https://www.northayrshireopenart.com/submissions
Or alternatively you can pick one up in person from the Harbour Arts Centre.
You don’t have long as the application deadline is on June 13.
Artwork submissions day is July 2 so mark the date in your diary and get painting!
