The Ayr Comic-Con is to return soon after a two years forced hiatus because of Covid-19.
The much-anticipated event organised by the Big Glasgow Comic Page (BCGP) will be taking place at the Citadel Leisure Centre on Saturday, June 4 from 10am until 4pm.
More than 2,000 people are expected to attend the event which will include traders, cosplayers, comics, gaming, props and workshops.
Tickets are priced at £3 with children under 10-years-old qualifying for free entry.
Organisers say that there will be workshops for attendees to participate in such as such as slime making, Jurassic class, design your own superhero and, superhero mask sessions.
Comic fans can expect everything on sale from Comic Books, Graphic Novels, 1st Appearance Comics, Action Figures, Statues, Pins, Funko Pops, Trading Cards, Keyrings, Toys, T-Shirts, Printed Art, Original Art, Mugs, Lanyards, Candles and D&D.
Attendees will also be able to meet seven-foot-tall Bumblebee the Transformer, get their picture taken with props and play retro arcade machines as well as retro consoles for free.
A spokesperson from BCGP said: “We’ll have over 50 traders selling Comics, Graphic Novels, Signed and Graded Books, independent Comics, Art, Funko Pops, Props, Action Figures, Anime, Trading Cards, Clothing, D&D, Jewellery, Prints, Lego as well as Special Comic Guest Writers and Artists.
“We’ll have workshops, gaming, guests and cosplayers to meet.”
