CUNNINGHAME Housing Association (CHA) were delighted to be able to support the Ardrossan Highland Games which took place last weekend.
The association offered support to the volunteer-organised event with a donation of £1,000, presented to committee members Les and Tom McCammont, earlier this year, as part of their ‘making communities a better place fund’.
The Ardrossan Highland Games is one of the biggest highlights in the local calendar, and it was a welcome return at the weekend after the previous two editions had been cancelled.
The funding provided assisted with the running costs involved in ensuring the event could take place, and be as successful as possible.
John Kelly, chairperson of CHA, commented: “The association are delighted to support the Ardrossan Highland Games and help keep up a local tradition.
“The Games will be sure to provide the local community with a fun filled day as well as giving local charities a chance to highlight their issues and raise much needed funds.”
