Rebekkah Aitken took part in Cancer Research's 5k Race for Life
AN ARDROSSAN teen raised four times her fund-raising target as she took on Cancer Research’s Race for Life 5K run.
Rebekkah Aitken, 16, took to the Irvine route and completed the race in a time of 43 minutes.
The teen also checked her GoFundMe page after the race to see how close she was to her £50 fund-raising goal - only to find out she had raised an amazing £200!
Rebekkah said: “I was over the moon because more needs to be done to provide better treatments for cancer as it has affected so many people's lives.”
