SEA Salt Streets are looking to take ideas from the local community after securing funding for a mural in Saltcoats.
They are a group of local people who aim to enhance the visual and physical appearance of Dockhead Street and surrounding environments.
Last September, the group worked with Impact Arts to create the art panels outside Home Hardware.
This year the group were successful in their bid to the Place Based Community Fund.
The funding will be used for two projects, including a mural which has been commissioned to local artist Tragic O’Hara. This will be on the wall up from the art panels and the group are looking to get ideas from the community of Saltcoats landmarks that could feature.
