IT was a day of celebration at Ardrossan Accies RFC last week as the club’s youngest players got to enjoy their presentation ceremony.
The sun was shining at the Memorial Field, meaning players got to get outside with the Accies strips on and celebrate a brilliant season for the youngsters.
This section of the club is known as the Micros and Minis, consisting of all players of primary school age.
They initially play in the Micros section, before Primary 4 and above are split into their own separate teams to complete in games.
On presentation day, as pictured here, all players received a medal for their efforts throughout the season with P4 to P7 being presented with three further awards.

In the Primary 4 age group, Sportsman of the Year went to Ben McCorgary and Most Improved Player to Ben Young. Player of the Year was given to Ruan Gossman.
For Primary 5, Angus Paterson took Sportsman of the Year, James Burns Most Improved Player and Player of the Year was awarded to Luca Marchi.
Primary 6 group featured Ryan Patterson as Sportsman of the Year, Ewan Gardiner as Most Improved Player and Player of the Year went to Patrick Glancy.
In the Primary 7 age group, Sportsman of the year was won by Riley Anderson, Most Improved Player by Callum Savage and Player of the Year was awarded to Ethan Sweenie.
