A STEVENSTON horse owner celebrated success at the Royal Highland Show in Edinburgh on Sunday, June 26.
Michelle Duncan, owner of Buckingham Rose (Rosie), was over the moon after winning first place in the in-hand coloured native class and winning Reserve Champion at Scotland’s top agricultural event.
Rosie was purchased for £100 as a scruffy foal nine years ago, and has gone on to have success, winning Champion at Ayr County Show, Reserve Supreme Champion in the coloured section as well as having success at local show level.
Close friend Jamie Reid, who has years of showing experience and success, was so proud to be showing off Buckingham Rose on behalf of Michelle at such a prestigious event as the Royal Highland Show and this win is her biggest win to date competing against a class of 28.
