A WEEL kent Ayrshire comedian is coming to Saltcoats later this year for an evening of entertainment.
Karen Dunbar, who was born in Glasgow and moved to Ayr at an early age, will take to the stage at Saltcoats Town Hall on Friday, October 14 for a Q&A session and some live music.
The event will include behind-the-scenes stories from the former Ayr Academy pupil as she looks back on some of her best-known work from Chewin’ The Fat, The Karen Dunbar Show and much more.
The event will start on 7.30pm and tickets, costing £22, are available to buy online now.
Those aged under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at the event.
Fellow stars of Scottish telly have recently enjoyed similar sessions in Saltcoats, with familiar faces from Still Game heading to the town as part of a series of events organised by presenter Ross Owen.
Sanjeev Kohli and Gavin Mitchell – who are better known as Navid and Boaby the Barman - turned out in July, while Paul Riley (aka Winston) and Jane McCarry (Isa) appeared in August, the latter just last weekend.
