FESTIVE film fans will have a chance to make some magical memories this winter aboard the famous Polar Express train - and the journey will begin right here in Saltcoats.
Holiday firm Barrhead Travel is asking families to "believe" in their dream package - offering a fun-filled theatrical adventure to a make-shift 'North Pole' to meet Santa Claus.
A coach is set to depart from the Three Towns - with pick-ups also available from Irvine and Kilwinning - on Saturday, December 17 and make its way to Leeming Bar in North Yorkshire, where excited passengers will hop on board the Polar Express, run by Wensleydale Railway.
Children will get to meet the characters from the 2004 movie, including the conductor, the singing chefs, the hobo and of course the main man himself, Father Christmas.
With guests dressed in pyjamas, the first sparks of magic will begin when snow fills the platform as the train pulls to a stop.
The train will then pull away from the platform and guests will be treated to some familiar songs from the film before the story of the Polar Express comes to technicolour life.
Santa will join guests on board and, if you are on the nice list, hand you your first gift of Christmas, a Silver Sleigh Bell just as in the motion picture we all love.
The magical experience costs £149 per child and £159 per adult - do you believe?
