Talented Ayrshire singers are being invited to apply for an upcoming BBC show called Scotland Sings.
Seeking out singers who are skilled but lack confidence, those who are successful will work with star vocal coach Yvie Burnett as she looks to form a choir of ‘hidden singers.’
Yvie has worked with superstars like Katy Perry, Susan Boyle, Lewis Capaldi, and Leona Lewis, and has also appeared on The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent throughout her 20 year long career.
Assistant producer Claire Morrison said: “We want to show the therapeutic power of communal singing and how the joy and fun of singing, especially as part of a group, can change lives and communities for the better.”
Applicants can nominate themselves or can be nominated by someone else such as a family member or close friend who hopes to encourage their talents.
To apply, send a recorded video of yourself singing or send the email address of the person you’d like to nominate via the application form by midnight on October 31.
You can nominate yourself or someone you know here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/send/u121359722
