THE family of the late Shirley Morgan have issued a heartfelt thanks to all those who gave them support during a difficult year.
It comes after the family were asked to switch on Stevenston’s festive lights this year in memory of the much-missed council worker and community activist.
Shirley was described on the night as a community champion who would always put every effort into making the event a success.
Her parents said: “Lee and Anne would like to thank our family, friends, neighbours and all Shirley’s colleagues in North Ayrshire for their support and kindness to us during this very sad and difficult year.
“We sincerely wish you all a joyful Christmas and a very happy and healthy 2023.”
