TRAINS between Ardrossan, Kilwinning and Largs have been cancelled this afternoon due to a fault with overhead power lines in Saltcoats.
ScotRail said that Glasgow Central - Largs and Ardrossan Harbour services will only run between Glasgow Central and Kilwinning while the problem persists.
Buses run by McGill's and Stagecoach are accepting train tickets between Largs, Kilwinning and Saltcoats.

A Twitter update from Network Rail said: "Our engineers are investigating a fault with the overhead power supply in the Saltcoats area.
"Although this is a location where large waves can often land on the railway, we don't think this is the cause.
"No trains can run between Kilwinning, Ardrossan and Largs for now."
The disruption is expected to last until around 8pm today.
