A man stands accused of sexually assaulting a woman while she was asleep and unable to consent.
Ian Kerrachan, 52, pleaded not guilty to the allegation when the case called in Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week.
It's alleged that Mr Kerrachan pulled down a woman's underwear while she was asleep.
His Majesty's Advocate's indictment states he then committed a sexual act with his hand at an address in Dalry on March 21, 2021.
Bail was continued for the Cleeves Avenue resident when the case called last week [Tuesday, May 9].
He will return to Kilmarnock Sheriff Court at a later date.
