WEST Kilbride's summer gala at the weekend attracted big crowds in some blazing sunshine.
At noon, Gala Queen Rosie McConnachie and King Jamie Hatfield led the parade from the town station to Kirktonhall Glen which was packed with stalls and fun rides, with some tasty food to be found too.
The youngsters could enjoy a bungee trampoline, bucking bronco, sumo suit wrestling, lazer tag, an inflatable course, bouncy castles, a sit and ride roundabout, a giant slide and swings until 5pm. And there was a beat the goalie competition, with Herald reporter Murray Grayston doing his best to save the shots.
And those who weren't wiped out by all the fun - and the heat - continued the festivities at the Kings Arms, where the karaoke kicked off.
Judging by these photos by Charlie Gilmour, everyone had a fantastic time.
