A PROBLEM at Ardrossan's ferry terminal has led to timetable changes for the Arran service this week.
The main service berth in Ardrossan is currently unavailable due to a seized pin on the linkspan and all services are operating to/from the Irish berth.
The Harbour Authority has organised a local contractor to attend to carry out a repair. A further update will be provided when available.
The problem also means planned maintenance of MV Alfred can no longer be carried out in Ardrossan - and the catamaran will have to relocate to Troon while this is competed.
All sailing will continue to operate to and from Ardrossan, although the following timetable changes have been made.
Friday, June 16 and Saturday, June 17
The 16:25 departing Ardrossan will now depart at the earlier time of 14:00, and the 17:55 departing Brodick will now depart at 15:30.
Sunday, June 18
The 08:00 departing Ardrossan has been cancelled.
The 16:25 departing Ardrossan will now depart at the earlier time of 14:00, and the 17:55 departing Brodick will now depart at 15:30.
Monday, June 19
The 16:25 departing Ardrossan will now depart at the earlier time of 14:00, and the 17:55 departing Brodick will now depart at 15:30.
All other sailings on these dates will operate as per timetable.
